Autumn Colours at the Graph'it Marker Blog

I'm soooo pleased its finally got around to Friday again... the weeks seem to be running away from me and before long Christmas will be upon us!

Not just yet though because today see's the start of a new challenge over at the Graph'it Marker Blog and this week we would like to see you use all the shades of Autumn!

I have to say Autumn has got to be my most favorite season!  It's not too hot like summer yet not too cold like winter, the colours all around are beautiful and Halloween is fast approaching... but most of all I can start cuddling up in my nice cosy comfy clothes!

Now remember you can use any type of Markers to join in the challenge!

The winner of this week's challenge will win a fantastic prize of 6 Graph'It markers and a Mix'It Blending palette and Mix'It Fluid!

So here's what I made:

I used one of the super adorable owls from the Bonbon Belles Cdrom at Polkadoodles (if you are quick you'll find this with a super 20% discount over at the store!)

The papers I used are from the CD too!

Of course I used my Graph'it Markers to colour in the image and here are the colours I used:

Owl: 3150,3160,3180,3190
Skirt: 8130, 8150, 8180
Flowers and feet: 2150,2180, 7125, 7130

I added some paper blooms (also coloured with my Graph'its to match my card) and some lush ribbon which I got from Chloe Stamps.

I added my usual faux stitching around the edges :-)

I hope you like it!

Why not pop over to the Challenge Blog and check out my teamies fantabulous makes!!!

More Christmas makes

Hi everyone, hope you are all well!

My girls all went back to school this week, my littlest Lacey is only 3 and looked sooo cute in her first uniform (i still cant believe they have to wear uniform at nursery ... she did love it though!).

So today i'm sharing some more samples I made for the lovely Nikky Hall and Polkadoodles which were shown on Create and Craft a couple of weeks ago.

They are more Christmas samples but now the nights are drawing in and the kids are back at school it really is getting close!

So here's what I did (warning i'm showing 2 projects so lots of pics)

The first project is an altered note book, i purchased these notebooks from poundland, they're hard backed and you get 8 in a pack all for £1 ... Bargain!

I covered my little book in delicious papers inside and out from the new Angelberry Christmas CDrom and then added ribbon as a fastener.

For the front I stamped the lovely tree from the Snowy Cottage Stamp set and coloured it in with my lovely Graph'it Markers, I added a die cut border and frame and then stickles to finish.

Next up is a shaker card .... i havent made one of these in soooo long!

Again I used the papers and sentiment from the Angelberry Christmas CDrom and the Snowy Cottage Stamp set.  I also used my Graph'it markers to colour it up, I even managed to do a snowy background using the mixing fluid and a cocktail stick!

I had great fun making these .... they were a nice welcome change from my usual makes.

I hope you like them!
